NEDFi Haat is a marketing platform for the products produced and marketed by North East Society for Handicraft Incubation and Livelihood Promotion (NE-SHILP), a not-for-profit society for promotion of craft products of 8 states of North East India.
NE-SHILP is a not-for-profit society dedicated to the promotion and preservation of traditional and contemporary craft products from the states of North East India. Operating under the CSR initiative of NEDFi (North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd.), NE-SHILP works to empower local artisans and create sustainable livelihoods through responsible market access and outreach.
At the heart of NE-SHILP’s efforts is NEDFi Haat, its flagship store and premier retail platform. Located in the heart of the city, NEDFi Haat is the only store in town offering a curated collection of eco-conscious, handpicked craft products from the Northeast. It serves as a one-stop destination for customers seeking authentic, handmade, and sustainable alternatives to mass-produced goods.
NE-SHILP promotes the use of natural and regionally abundant materials such as:
